Many educators have quickly incorporated online solutions to continue teaching their students from a distance. As online lectures surge, we've also heard educators' concerns about whether or not their students are understanding the materials covered in video lectures or if they're even paying attention. We're launching a solution that can help! MobLab is excited to introduce video embedding in surveys:
Surveys are already included in both MobLab Games and MobLab Poll, but they now have the additional option to embed a YouTube or Vimeo video in any question by simply adding the video URL (support for more video services coming soon). Educators can ask students multiple choice, numeric, and free-response questions while they watch the video. They can also randomize question order between students, download the response data to see the time it took for students to answer each question, and more! To see how you can customize surveys, please check out our support article.
To use this feature on a smartphone, students must update their MobLab app to Android version 4.1.19 or iOS version 4.1.21 or above.
